I have 25 years professional work experience with many INGOs and NGOs as with different posts in addition, I have BA in Educational English Language from Al Quads open university on 2002, Diploma on social sciences from Teachers Home College – Gaza on 1992, and recently I finished 2 years diploma in accounting & Finance science. I believe that I have the required qualifications for performing the main duties of this post due to the following reasons; Since more than 25 years I worked with several International and National NGOs such as Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP-UK), CIDA, Palestinian Agriculture Relief Committees (PARC) and Women affairs Center (WAC) in which I used to carry out several positions related to, Logistic, Finance and Administrative management, coordination and programs management, humanitarian and development interventions as well as HR and emergency program management. In MAP – UK and in the last 12 years I’ve been working on several positions varied from program officer, to finance - logistic coordinator and since 2011 till now I’m the Finance and Administrative officer of MAP UK Gaza office. In CIDA – MOSA I was the operational Director of one of MOSA centers for 3 years in which I was the line manager of 23 staff members as well as I was the head of managing 6 training units. In PARC I worked for more than 6 years as training program coordinator for all of PARC training units (staff training, new agronomists training and training unit of women beneficiaries from small enterprises project) In WAC - women affairs center I worked 6 years as media and video program coordinator. My work as MAP-UK program officer then Logistic and finance coordinator then finance & admin officer for long years enabled me to improve the quality of my skills on overall admin, logistic and financial work in compliance with the policies and procedures. Build the relationship of key stakeholders including partners, suppliers, banks etc. In addition of prepare all types of field reports, activity progress reports, interim and final reports with respecting and following the organization / the donor roles and regulations. Contribute to the fundraising activities on revising all the received proposals, MOH regularly needs assessments as well as assist on confirming the budget and the governance, due diligence of the potential partner associations. Regularly monitor of partners’ finance reports and provide capacity development of partner organizations on strengthening financial reporting, procurement process and grants management in line with partner. Monitoring the budget forecast, preparation of monthly financial reports and accounts, tracking programme expenditures monthly and provide needed support on procurement and tendering. My work as Program coordinator and MOSA overall Women TVT center manager enabled me to overseeing the strategic plans, monitor the day to day implementation as well as improve the quality of program and projects management and governance monitoring. Also, I was the line manager of number of staff members in which I have strong skills on monitor the day to day work, HR tasks and appraisals. Also, my long experience at MAP which considered as one of the key emergency’s responders to Gaza crises in which I gained strong skills on managing the emergency response and preparedness program as well as I used to prepare a yearly emergency and security plans. Through my previous work I joined several trainings in & outside Gaza, mainly on; Democracy & Good governance, TOT, Civil society organizations roles and Duties, Gender & Participation, Strategic planning, team working, PME system & communication skills. As a team leader and team member for more than 25 years I strongly believe that teamwork values are highly important and I have the ability and the willingness to cooperate, coordinate, support, teach, and learn from colleagues. Through my experience I built good communication skills, the period of the Cast led offensive on Gaza Strip was a real test of working under pressure and for long hours. I have excellent command in English language (both written and spoken) and good quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Furthermore, I have good skills in using MS office package. I have valid and clean driving license since 1994 and I’m familiar with driving on all the field of Gaza Strip. Also, I have security clearance to travel between WB and Gaza.
